Bee-prepared and FAQs!

What should we wear?

Bee-comfortable!

There’s no set uniform at Little Bees Dance. You and your little one can come in whatever you choose, just make sure you can dance and move freely and easily!

It’s probably best to wear something with grip, as the floor at the studio can be slippery. We don’t recommend just socks.

What age group are your classes for?

Our classes are designed for children aged 18 months to 5 years. We have different classes for different age groups to ensure that the activities are age-appropriate and engaging.

How long is each class?

Each class lasts for 30 minutes. This duration is perfect for young children, providing enough time for them to learn and have fun without becoming too tired.

Where are the classes held?

Our classes are held at the Walker Close Community Centre, located at Millers Road, Altona North. See our Events & Bookings page for more details.

Do parents need to stay during the class?

Yes, parents or guardians are expected to stay and watch the class.

For our Social Bees class (18 months – 2 years), parents/guardians are expected to support their children through the class.

In our Honey Bees classes, designed for 3-year-olds, and our Bumble Bees classes, tailored for 4-5 year-olds, we encourage parents and guardians to stay. Not only can you watch the class, but you can also provide support when needed. This way, you can be part of your child’s exciting dance journey.
